Home cooked style Japanese food! I frequent this restaurant each time I am in Tokyo. I will go back there for dinner two or three times a week. Very homely and delicious Japanese dinner. Price point is very decent for a delicious, healthy and filling meal! Total USD $20 for two pax as seen in my photos. Can be abit too cozy because a lot of locals frequent the place and there could be long lines as well. I hardly see foreigners there at dinner time. But as a foreigner myself, I highly recommend you to check out this place!
Chain restaurant that is specialized in meal sets with a lot of variety and choices. Been to multiple locations a couple of times. The food is always delicious. The only “issue” this time was that my main dish was a bit small in size, but the rest of the other side dishes compensated this lack.
Located on the first floor This restaurant is so great - really good quality food, very reasonably priced, and the set meals come with unlimited rice and miso soup I got the wagy beef sukiyaki, it was a show stopper for sure.
I recently had dinner here. Their meal options are definitely interesting, and they can at least accommodate both those who cannot eat fish or meat, there's no vegetarian options tho and the overall amount of veggies is quite limited. It is still on the healthier side of Japanese meals which I always kinda appreciate~ amount of food was more than enough and コスパ was totally fair, we also got a seat near the window so the view was quite pretty indeed!
We ate here twice for dinner & lunch with our family. Great value, refillable rice & miso. Yummy, traditional Japanese food. Order via QR code, always busy but service is quick.
So good, we came back twice. First for the mackerel lunch menu. Second for a sashimi bowl dinner. Nice to be able to add small sides of extra fish and other proteins and condiments. Great sides, fresh ingredients, well priced and high quality establishment. Perfect for a light and healthy local meal.
Great japanese restaurant serving protein (chicken/fish) rice sets. You can choose add-ons and it’s delicious and reasonably priced around ¥1500 a set. You get your own unlimited rice from the self serve water station area, and there is white and sesame rice to choose from. We ordered the Ochazuke which is rice with soup, which hot broth comes in a teapot and you pour over the rice to eat with. Great place to eat after a long walk at the Ueno park. They have kids meals too.
